Copyright
Can I upload a cover song?
In principle, no. Only performing artists or Music Industry members who own the rights to their songs can upload music to FRC All Music. Music Consumer members cannot upload songs.
Do I keep ownership of the music I upload?
Yes. FRC All Music does not claim ownership or any rights to the music you upload. By confirming ownership when you upload a song, you confirm that you own the track and you permit it to be played on FRC All Music. You can remove the song from the site at any time.
How can I protect the copyright of my song lyrics?
Songwriters can use FRC Protect, a copyright registration service. It documents, through a third party, when you wrote the song or lyrics and provides registration proof. This can be useful if a dispute arises about the ownership of your work.
What can I do if a copyright claim about my track is incorrect?
If you believe the claim is wrong, you can respond through the contact form and provide evidence that you own the rights to the track. We will review your response and take appropriate action.
What happens if a copyright complaint is received about my track?
FRC All Music will investigate the complaint. If we receive a valid takedown notice, we are required to review it and may remove the track while the matter is checked. We will contact you with the details of the complaint.
What happens if I do not confirm copyright ownership when uploading a song?
You can still upload the song, but it will not be shown on the site until you confirm that you own the copyright or have the right to use the music. Once you confirm ownership, the track becomes visible.
What should I do if I believe a track infringes my copyright?
Please use the contact form on the site and report the track. Include relevant evidence (for example, links to the original work, proof of ownership, and the location of the track on FRC All Music). We will review valid notices and take appropriate action, which may include removing the content while the matter is checked. Providing clear evidence helps us act more quickly.
Who is responsible for the copyright of uploaded content?
Artists are responsible for the tracks, videos, and other content they upload. When uploading, artists confirm that they own the copyright or have the right to use the material on FRC All Music. Playlists are simply collections of tracks already on the site. If you believe any content infringes copyright, please contact us with the details and we will review it.

Why do I have to agree to the Terms of Service?

Agreeing to the Terms of Service is required so everyone knows what is allowed and what happens if the rules are broken.
Playlists & Charts
How do I add a song to a playlist?
Next to each song you will see a music note icon. Hover over the icon and select Add to Playlist. You can then either add the song to an existing playlist or create a new playlist.
How is the Activity Score and Fan Score calculated?
We do not publish the exact formula used for the Activity Score or Fan Score. Both scores are based on a combination of the artist’s own activity on the site and the way other members interact with that artist (for example follows, playlist adds, and other engagement). The goal is to reflect real interest and support rather than simple play counts.
What is the Fan Score Chart?
The Fan Score Chart combines plays, unique listeners, playlist adds and other engagement signals.
What is the relationship between Member Activity and Fan Score?
Many artists join a music site and expect success to happen automatically. Sites like FRC All Music give you a platform and help expose your music, but popularity still depends on your own effort. It is up to the artist to promote themselves and invite their fans to interact (follow, comment, add tracks to playlists, etc.). The charts show that when an artist’s activity score increases, their Fan Score usually improves as well. Several artists on FRC All Music have already demonstrated this.
Why do you have Fan Score charts?
The Fan Score chart gives a better picture of an artist’s real support than a simple play count. Play counts can be easily increased or gamed. The Fan Score looks at broader engagement (such as how many people follow the artist, add tracks to playlists, or interact with the music). This makes it a stronger indicator of the size and strength of the artist’s fan base.
Security
How should I choose my password
Use a unique password for FRC All Music that you do not use anywhere else.
Good passwords are long and hard to guess. A passphrase of several random words is stronger and easier to remember than a short mix of letters and symbols. Avoid passwords based on personal information (birth date, name, phone number) or common words and patterns such as “password”, “123456”, or “qwerty”.
Do not reuse the password from your email account. If another site is compromised, attackers often try the same password elsewhere.
Store your passwords in a password manager or keep them offline. Never save them in a plain-text file on your computer.
Is FRC All Music Safe?
Yes. The site uses HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure). This means all communication between your browser and FRC All Music is encrypted.
When you visit the site, create an account, log in, upload music, or view any page, the data is protected while it travels between your device and our server. Even if someone intercepts the connection, they cannot read or change the information because it is encrypted.
You can confirm the connection is secure by looking for the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar.
We also take additional steps to protect your account and uploaded content, and we never share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Why can't I just use my usual short password?
FRC All Music requires passwords to be at least 8 characters long and to include both uppercase and lowercase letters plus a number. This helps protect your account from automated guessing tools.
Short or simple passwords can be cracked quickly. Adding length and a symbol (such as $ or &) makes the password significantly harder to break.
For extra protection, Pro account members can enable two-factor authentication. A strong password combined with two-factor authentication makes your account much safer.
Why do I get an email about a New Device Notification?
FRC All Music sends a New Device Notification when your account is accessed from a device or browser we have not seen before. This is a security feature designed to protect your account.
If you recently logged in from a new computer, phone, tablet, or browser, the email is expected. You can simply ignore it or keep it for your records.
If you did not log in from a new device, someone else may have accessed your account. In that case: • Change your password immediately • Review your recent activity • Contact us so we can help secure your account
Occasional false alerts can happen (for example after clearing browser data, using a different browser, or connecting through a VPN). If you receive these emails frequently and you are the only person using the account, let us know and we will look into it with you.
We use these checks to help prevent unauthorised access. The strongest protection still starts with you: use a strong, unique password and avoid logging in on shared or public devices.
Site Usage
It appears some users managing multiple profiles.
Users who work in music production or promotion can create and manage more than one profile. Example: Paul signs up as a Label. He can then create a separate profile for each artist he manages. He has access to all of those profiles and can update them as if they were his own. Free Label profiles can manage up to 3 artist profiles. Pro accounts can manage up to 30 artist profiles. If you need to manage more than 30 artist profiles, contact us. We are happy to discuss options that fit your needs.
What is the difference between a User and Profile
The USER is the person, the PROFILE is where they put their stuff. One USER can have a number of profiles.
What is the difference between a User ID and a Profile ID
On FRC All Music, users and profiles are separate.
A User is always a person. This is the account you use to log in.
A Profile is the public page where content is shown. A profile can belong to a person, a band, a venue, a label, a company, or any other entity.
One user can own or manage more than one profile. One profile can also have more than one user attached to it (for example, band members sharing a profile).
When you sign up, the system creates both a user account and a default profile for you. Any music, videos, images, or other content you upload is attached to a specific profile and appears on that profile’s page.
Example: Paul signs up. He receives a user account (to log in) and a profile that appears at frc-all-music.com/paul. All content he uploads is stored under that profile and shown on that page.
Uploading & Audio
How do I upload a song?
Go to your profile, click Audio, then Create and upload your file.
Why is it important to enter the Title?
The Title is part of the metadata (ID3 tags) stored with your audio file. This information is used by players, apps, and the site to identify the track. If you leave the Title blank, the song will often show as “Unknown” or “Untitled” during playback and in lists. Entering the correct Title makes sure your track is properly identified everywhere it is played. Some members name their tracks with their name and a number (for example “Paul 3” or simply “7”). That is fine, but a clear descriptive title is usually easier for listeners to find and remember.
Why is my play count not increasing?
Plays are only counted after a minimum listen time and with some delay between counts.
