M@rgo (aka Margarita Semenova) has been playing music since childhood since the piano appeared in the house. The girl also actively showed her skills at matinees in kindergarten. After her mother heard that her 5-year-old daughter was playing a Russian folk song without knowing the notes, she decided to send the girl to a music school for preparatory courses. There 8 years she studied the music of many great composers, and after a few years graduated from the jazz department in piano. She wrote her first song at the age of 8. It was a little piece of music. Also Margarita wrote a hymn for her class, with which students reached the finals of the school competition. The girl began to seriously think about her musical career after the Institute of Musical Management. By the way, for the prom she wrote the song "New Star", which was performed by students of the faculty. The public met this encore. While studying at the University, Margarita took part in many music competitions, as well as was engaged in organizational issues (“New Wave”, “Eurovision”).
Margarita recorded her first professional russian song “Clouds” under the artist name M@rgo in the summer of 2011 (release on Amazone and iTunes 11.10.2012). The composition immediately fell into the rotation of the radio station "Unknown Genius", and also took part in the rating 101.ru.
The next song - “Talisman” (release on Amazone and iTunes 08/16/2012) - was recorded that summer and became the singer’s true talisman on the musical way. Breaking into Europe, the song hit the radio stations of countries such as Poland, Germany, England, Serbia, Spain, the Netherlands, and also spun in Latin America. It is not surprising that the next release was the Talisman in the English version. The song was called "Talisman Boy" (release on Amazone and iTunes 12/12/2012) and again appeared on the tops of various charts. In January 2013, the song hit the charts in Germany, then Serbia, England, Poland, Spain, there was a presentation in Italy, the Netherlands, Mexico, Latin America, Canada, the USA.
In August 2012, the singer acted as a backing vocalist on the track Nikita Fomina's “Stranger (Dream Version)”, which soon became part of ZYX Italo Disco New Generation Vol.1,
and in September saw the release of the single Igor Pumphonia feat. M@rgo “Talisman / Elixir Of The Soul”, created in collaboration with talented musician and composer Igor Isaev, working in the styles of ambient and relaxation.
Then there was a collaboration with the M- Tracking group. The song "Running Away", was presented at the end of December 2012, and the official single was released in April 2013. The composition instantly fell into the charts of Germany, Serbia, Poland, England, sounded on many radio stations of the country. In October, the song entered the German compilation ZYX Italo Disco New Generation Vol.3, and on August 15, 2014 it was re-released in the compilation Italo Disco New Generation Bootmix Vol.2.
14 october 2018 this song was presented on the stage of "Opera Club" in the concert D.White.
Also M@rgO took parting in this event with her songs "Talisman", "In the sky" feat.D.White.
In the summer of 2013, the song “You and Me” was released, and in December a new version of the song “Talisman” (New Disco 2013) was released in Russian. This version lasted in the charts of Poland for more than 10 weeks!
In January 2014, the club version of the "Talisman" appeared, focused on FM radio stations and fashion clubs. In the New Year holidays, work began on the project "My Love In Your Heart". Margarita liked the work of the rising Star under the artist name Mode One, and she decided to make a joint song with him. Then there was a lot of work on arranging and sound (this was done by Mode One and Paul Katsnelson from Canada), and at the end of March the composition was released. “My Love In Your Heart” was the hit of 12 charts at the same time, including in Poland, Germany, Spain, England, Serbia, and in many countries it became the leader of the number 1 charts. After such a success, the Spanish label Five4it Records made a proposal release a hit song on vinyl. The single was released on July 3, 2014. In September, this song was featured in the ZYX New Generation, Vol. 5.
2015 year was presented also new club version from Rost.
2017 year this song is including into the debut album of Mode One “Queen of my heart” and produced by legendary producer Luis Rodriguez and Team 33.
In the summer of the same year, video filming for the song "In the sky" began with the participation of the rising European Star D. White (Dmitry Beliy). The main general sound producer of this romantic ballad was ROST. The video premiere of this song took place on October 14.
The same fall, another release co-existed with the song "I was lost", writen for "MTracking", which M@rgO co-wrote with Yuri Novikov, the performer of this song.
Next, work began on the "Disco Come Back" song, which was written for Kristian Conde - Italo Disco Legend 80.
The song in the duet M@rgO and Kristian was officially released on December 7. and began her ascent to musical hit parades from Poland, Serbia, Germany. The presentation was in Italy, Spain, Holland.
In 2015 -2016, work continued with artist Mode One. Indeed, the success of the song "My love in your heart" around the world to disco fans haunted.
Finally, in 2016, the official video for the Russian-language song “Memories of summer” was released in the Italo disco version, after which there was an offer from American producers to publish the English version for the maxi-single label AMD Records (USA). Single-vinyl was born in April 2019 in 4 versions. The presentation took place in Europe, including Spain, Holland and Germany.
Also in beginning of 2015 was the work with the song "Forgive me", which M@rgO wrote for artist D.White. Premiere was presented 14 october 2014 on the concert "Opera Club". Soundproducer is Rost. Oficial video was presented by autumn of 2019 year.
In 2017, work began with the European team and Team 33 label on the song "If you love me" (in collaboration with Russian sound producer Rost) for the European Stage Legend Eurodisco Lian Ross. Margarita proposed a song that was approved by Lian Ross (real name Josephine Hibel) and legendary producer Luis Rodriguez, who has worked with Eurodisco artists for more than 40 years and became the founder of Germany’s most successful duet, "Modern Talking", C.C.Catch, Lian Ross, "London Boys", Sabrina, "Blue System" and many others. He was the right-hand man and co-producer of Dieter Bohlen in his projects.
In the spring of 2018, Margarita received an offer from American cinema producers to include the song "Talisman Boy" in one of the scenes of the movie "Cornbread Сosa - Nostra", which premiered on May 18, 2018.
A duet song with D.White was also released in 2018 - "Heaven for us" (in collaboration with Russian composer Emin Babaev and sound producer Rostislav Yankelevich), which became the leader in the Poland charts for 12 weeks. 5 times this song was recognized as number 1 by the voting of listeners.
On May 18, 2019, on the birthday of Margarita’s birthday, the video premiere of the russian song “Crying of Rain” in collaboration with Russian sound producer Rost took place.
On May 20, 2019 in Spain, the label "InOut Records" released the maxi-single Lian Ross - "Young forever", which included the song Margarita - M@rgO called "if you love me".
In december of this year is palanning the release new single-vinyl of M@rgO feat. Kristian Conde with the song "Disco Come Back" for Mexico & USA.
Also after is plannyng the release of solo - single-vinyl with "Luxury Girl".

Currently, M@rgO is preparing Russian-language and English-language albums for release and continues to collaborate with artists of the new and old generation of disco.
