FRC All Music Community Standards and Enforcement Policy

This Community Standards and Enforcement Policy (“Policy”) governs your use of the FRC All Music Platform (“Platform”). We encourage you to read this Policy thoroughly before using the Platform and to revisit it periodically during your use.

FRC All Music does not act as a publisher of content on the Platform. Instead, it (i) hosts content and information as directed, requested, and authorized by its users, (ii) serves as a neutral conduit and host for the upload, storage, and sharing of such content, and (iii) does not actively participate in or assist with the presentation or use of the content.

FRC All Music reserves the right, but not the duty, to review and moderate content on the Platform and to address content that is illegal or otherwise inappropriate. In this Policy, “moderate” refers to actions, automated or manual, to identify or address illegal content, content that violates our Terms, or other objectionable activities. For clarity, FRC All Music does not proactively monitor content or the Platform.

1. General Provisions

FRC All Music employs a range of automated tools and methods to manage illegal or inappropriate content on the Platform. When you sign up, you must accept our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines (collectively, the “Terms”), which explicitly prohibit uploading illegal content or content that violates the Terms.

Any capitalized terms used in this Policy but not defined here carry the same meaning as in the Terms.

Before uploading content or engaging directly with other users, you must verify your email address. This step helps ensure that only legitimate users access FRC All Music, reducing the risk of anonymous distribution of harmful content. For details on how we collect and handle data related to Platform usage, as well as your rights and our responsibilities regarding your personal data, please review our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.

2. Content Moderation

FRC All Music may, at its discretion, use both automated systems and manual processes to identify and address inappropriate content. Our moderation efforts focus on two key areas:

a. Detection of inappropriate profile names, URLs, and descriptions.
Any words or phrases that violate our Terms are prohibited in profile names, descriptions, and URLs. Using such content may lead to immediate and permanent account suspension.

b. Detection of inappropriate audio, images, and track metadata.
We partner with a third-party service to actively identify and remove violative audio, images, and track metadata. Techniques like audio matching, image scanning, and text analysis are used to detect problematic content. Identified content is either flagged for further review or automatically suspended. If content is flagged and removed, the account holder receives a notification with the reasons for removal, sent to the primary email linked to their account. Removed content contributes to a user’s status as a Repeat Infringer, as outlined in section 5b below.

3. Complaint and Decision-Making Process

3a. Reporting Violations

FRC All Music provides a straightforward report and takedown process for content suspected of violating our Terms or applicable laws. We encourage users to report any inappropriate content or behavior. Depending on your region, you can submit reports through dedicated forms in our Help Center or via report buttons available on content across our iOS and Android apps and website.

Before reporting, we recommend reviewing the following resources to determine if the content may be violative:

  • Terms of Use
  • Community Guidelines
  • Help Center articles

All reports are directed to our Trust & Safety Team for evaluation. Our reporting tools are user-friendly, and the process is designed to be simple and efficient.

To ensure reports are processed quickly, our reporting form includes dropdown menus to categorize violations. Your report must include:

  • A detailed explanation of why you believe the content is violative,
  • The specific URL of the content,
  • Your name and email address, and
  • A confirmation that your report is accurate and complete.

Incomplete reports will be rejected. Upon submitting a report, you will receive a confirmation email.

3b. Review Process

Our Trust & Safety Team evaluates reported content based on our Terms, Community Guidelines, and relevant laws. Reports from law enforcement or removal orders from competent authorities, such as those under Section II, Article 3 of Regulation (EU) 2021/784 regarding terrorist content, are prioritized and handled promptly.

We collaborate with a third-party provider to proactively detect problematic content, which is processed through their moderation platform as described in section 2b. Content flagged for manual review is handled similarly to reports submitted through our complaint process.

We aim to review complaints swiftly, in line with internal guidelines and legal obligations. For instance, we strive to address unlawful content, such as terrorist material, within 24 hours of receiving a report, though exceptions may apply. Most content removal decisions are made within one week, with occasional exceptions.

If content is removed, the account holder is notified with an explanation and information on how to appeal (see section 6). If a complaint does not lead to removal, the complainant receives a written explanation and details on their right to appeal. Adjustments to our complaint process may be made to comply with applicable laws.

4. Copyright Infringement

4a. Reporting Copyright Violations

For guidance on reporting copyright infringements, please refer to our “Copyright Information Pages” in the Help Center.

5. Content and Account Actions

5a. Content Restrictions

FRC All Music may, at its discretion, block, remove, delete, limit, or restrict access to content at any time without liability. This includes content that may infringe third-party rights, violates our Terms or laws, or is deemed unacceptable. If your content is removed or restricted, we will notify you with an explanation, as required by law.

Uploaders have full control over the audio content in their accounts and may remove it at any time without notice. You have no guaranteed right to access content, and FRC All Music is not liable if content becomes inaccessible due to removal by us or the uploader.

If we determine that your content violates third-party rights or our Terms, we may issue a written warning or take actions such as suspending or terminating your account, depending on the severity of the violation.

5b. Repeat Infringers

FRC All Music may suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly violate our Terms, such as by uploading content that breaches the Terms of Use or submitting baseless complaints or appeals (“Repeat Infringers”). When assessing violations and determining actions, we consider factors like the nature, frequency, and severity of the violations, as well as the types of content involved.

For example, if you repeatedly submit unfounded reports of violative content, your account may be suspended for 30 days.

5c. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform or specific features if: (i) you are identified as a Repeat Infringer, or (ii) you violate the Terms, including sections on Your Use of the Platform, Your Content, Grant of License, and Your Representations and Warranties.

We may also terminate accounts without warning if required by a court order, applicable law, or other appropriate circumstances, as determined by FRC All Music. No refunds are provided to Subscription account holders whose accounts are terminated due to Term violations.

6. Appeals Process

If your content is removed or your account is suspended or terminated, you have the right to appeal, subject to certain limitations. We provide clear instructions on how to appeal in the notification or warning sent to you.

Appeals are reviewed impartially by a different team member than the one who made the initial decision. If an appeal decision is delayed, we have an escalation process to ensure a resolution. You may submit an appeal at any time after the initial decision.

If your appeal is denied, we will provide an explanation. If successful, your content will be restored. Additional appeal options, such as out-of-court dispute resolution or legal action, may be available—see the “Complaint Procedures” section in our Terms of Use for details. Adjustments to our appeals process may be made to comply with legal requirements.

7. Commitment to Human Rights

FRC All Music is dedicated to fostering a Platform where freedom of expression is valued, and user safety and privacy are prioritized. We invest significant resources in implementing this Policy, ensuring users can easily report questionable content and appeal moderation decisions while maintaining transparency in our processes. These efforts align with our commitment to the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. While we strive to remove unlawful or inappropriate content, we also celebrate the diversity of music and perspectives on our Platform. Our Community Guidelines are designed to encourage respectful, diverse exchanges that promote constructive dialogue, not to impose rigid restrictions.
