Community Guidelines

Effective Date: 01 September 2025
Last Updated: 01 September 2025

At FRC All Music, we aim to create a vibrant, inclusive community where musicians, industry professionals, and music enthusiasts feel empowered, safe, and respected. These Community Guidelines outline the rules for using our platform, ensuring it remains a positive space for creativity and collaboration. They apply to all content, including music, videos, event information, comments, messages, profiles, bios, usernames, and titles. Please read these guidelines carefully, as we take them seriously and expect you to do the same.

Our guidelines are organized by topic, with examples to illustrate acceptable and unacceptable behavior. These examples are not exhaustive, and FRC All Music reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines or our Terms and Conditions at our discretion. For details on our moderation and enforcement processes, refer to our Terms and Conditions.

1. Copyright

Respecting creators’ rights is fundamental to our community. You are responsible for all content you upload, including music, videos, and event information. When uploading content, you must confirm via a checkbox that you own the copyright or have permission from the rights holder. This applies to original works, remixes, or content posted on behalf of others (e.g., by managers or labels). Uploading unauthorized content may result in its removal and/or account termination.

Do:

  • Upload original music or content you have full permission to share.
  • Ensure you have rights to all elements in remixes or covers.
  • Report copyright infringements to postmaster@frc-all-music.com with details of the violation.

Don’t:

  • Upload music, videos, or event details without permission from the rights holder.
  • Misrepresent ownership of content in the copyright confirmation checkbox.
  • Report content for infringement unless you are the rights holder or an authorized agent, as abusive reporting may lead to account restrictions or liability for damages.

2. Constructive Criticism

We encourage sharing opinions about music, events, or other content, but criticism must focus on the work, not the creator’s personal character. Always provide feedback in a respectful, constructive manner, considering how you would feel receiving it.

Do:

  • Say, “This song could use a stronger beat.”
  • Comment, “The event description could be clearer about the venue.”
  • Share, “I think a different vocal style might enhance this track.”

Don’t:

  • Insult the creator, e.g., “You’re terrible, quit music!”
  • Attack personally, e.g., “Your voice is awful, nobody likes you.”
  • Post derogatory remarks unrelated to the content’s quality.

3. Abuse

Abusive or threatening behavior is strictly prohibited. This includes content or actions intended to attack, demean, sexualize, or degrade others. Such behavior may result in immediate, permanent account termination. You can block users you do not wish to interact with via account settings.

Do:

  • Share positive feedback, e.g., “Great track, keep it up!”
  • Use the block feature to avoid unwanted interactions.
  • Promote others respectfully, e.g., “You’re an amazing artist!”

Don’t:

  • Use offensive language, e.g., “F*** you.”
  • Post threats, e.g., “I’ll find you and make you regret this.”
  • Create content that degrades or sexualizes another user.

4. Harassment

Harassment involves unwanted, repeated contact with someone who has indicated they do not wish to engage. This includes stalking, coercive behavior, or sending repeated unwanted messages/comments. Harassment may lead to immediate account termination.

Do:

  • Send a single, polite message, e.g., “Check out my new track, I think you’ll like it.”
  • Respect others’ boundaries and stop contact if requested.

Don’t:

  • Repeatedly message someone, e.g., “Why aren’t you responding? Talk to me!”
  • Pursue contact after being blocked or told to stop.
  • Create accounts to target or “expose” specific individuals or groups.

5. Hate Speech

We support freedom of expression but prohibit content or behavior that promotes, supports, or incites hatred, discrimination, or violence based on race, ethnicity, cultural identity, religion, disability, gender identity, or sexual orientation. Content that could provoke fear, harassment, or violence is not allowed. Illegal content, such as Nazi or terrorist propaganda, will be removed immediately unless clearly used for educational or journalistic purposes.

Do:

  • Discuss sensitive topics educationally, e.g., analyzing historical events without endorsing harmful views.
  • Clearly state you do not support hate groups when quoting them.

Don’t:

  • Post content that demeans protected groups, e.g., “This group is the problem.”
  • Promote violence or fear, e.g., “We need to get rid of them.”
  • Share propaganda supporting illegal ideologies unless for clear educational purposes.

6. Unauthorized Sharing of Private Information

Sharing personal or sensitive information (e.g., full names, addresses, phone numbers, private conversations) without permission is prohibited. This includes recordings, photos, or screenshots that expose private details.

Do:

  • Reference people generically, e.g., “A friend enjoyed this event.”
  • Share thoughts without identifying individuals.

Don’t:

  • Post personal details, e.g., “Juan Pérez from Madrid High School.”
  • Share private conversations or images without consent.
  • Use private recordings or screenshots as profile or track artwork.

7. Impersonation and Misleading Content

FRC All Music supports stage names and professional identities but prohibits impersonating others or posting misleading content. You must not create profiles or content that misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

Do:

  • Use original stage names or profiles that don’t infringe trademarks.
  • Mention inspirations, e.g., “Inspired by artists like X and Y.”
  • Create fan accounts with clear permission from the artist, marked as unofficial.

Don’t:

  • Use another artist’s name in track titles or profiles without permission.
  • Use another artist’s images or trademarks as your avatar or artwork.
  • Create profiles to deceive others into thinking you’re someone else.
  • Manipulate metadata to mislead search results or users.

8. Pornographic Content

Content that is predominantly sexual, intended for sexual gratification, or contains nudity or explicit descriptions is not allowed. Links to pornographic sites are also prohibited.

Do:

  • Share non-sexual content, e.g., music, event promotions, or neutral artwork.
  • Post safe content like ambient sounds or event flyers.

Don’t:

  • Upload sexual content disguised as music or other media.
  • Include links to pornographic sites in profiles or descriptions.
  • Post explicit images or descriptions of sexual acts.

9. Child Safety

FRC All Music has zero tolerance for content or behavior that exploits or endangers children (under 18). This includes child sexual abuse material, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or solicitation. Such content will be reported to law enforcement and result in immediate account termination.

Do:

  • Discuss child safety issues educationally to raise awareness, without promoting exploitation.
  • Share content that promotes safe environments for children.

Don’t:

  • Post content that depicts, supports, or instructs child exploitation.
  • Share images or comments sexualizing children.
  • Engage with minors inappropriately via comments or messages.

10. Sexual Exploitation

Content or behavior that threatens adult safety, including intimate image abuse, sexual exploitation, or trafficking, is prohibited. Violations may result in immediate account termination.

Do:

  • Create educational content, e.g., a podcast discussing exploitation risks.
  • Promote respectful interactions within the community.

Don’t:

  • Share intimate images of others without consent.
  • Engage in or promote sexual exploitation or trafficking.

11. Suicide, Self-Harm, and Harmful Behavior

Content that promotes or depicts suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, or substance abuse is not allowed. Encouraging or assisting such behaviors is strictly prohibited.

Do:

  • Raise awareness about mental health or self-harm in a supportive, educational manner.
  • Share resources for help without triggering harmful behavior.

Don’t:

  • Post content encouraging suicide or self-harm, e.g., “You should hurt yourself.”
  • Mock victims or survivors of harmful behaviors.
  • Share graphic depictions of self-harm or substance abuse.

12. Terrorist Content

FRC All Music prohibits terrorist content and is committed to its prompt removal, in compliance with applicable laws, including Regulation (EU) 2021/784. We use proactive measures and third-party tools to detect and remove such content, and we prioritize reports from users or authorities.

Do:

  • Discuss terrorism educationally, e.g., in a podcast analyzing historical events, clearly not endorsing it.
  • Report suspected terrorist content to postmaster@frc-all-music.com.

Don’t:

  • Upload content glorifying terrorist acts or groups.
  • Post comments supporting or encouraging terrorism.

13. Violence and Threatening Behavior

Content or behavior that incites, glorifies, or threatens violence, including excessive gore or animal cruelty, is prohibited. This applies to threats against individuals, the public, or FRC All Music staff.

Do:

  • Share educational commentary, e.g., discussing a violent event in a podcast.
  • Promote non-violent, creative content like music or event promotions.

Don’t:

  • Post content threatening physical harm, e.g., “I’ll attack you.”
  • Share graphic images or instructions for violence or animal cruelty.
  • Incite violence against individuals or groups.

14. Misinformation

FRC All Music does not tolerate false, fabricated, or manipulated information presented as fact, especially if it poses harm to users or society (e.g., affecting political discourse or public safety). Harmful ideologies, such as denying violent historical events, are prohibited.

Do:

  • Share opinions clearly labeled as such, e.g., “In my view, this track could improve.”
  • Create satirical or comedic content without misleading as fact.

Don’t:

  • Use clickbait titles or profiles to spread false claims.
  • Post content denying verified events, e.g., “That event was a hoax.”
  • Share conspiracy theories targeting protected groups.

15. Spammy Behavior and Self-Promotion

We encourage artists to promote their music and events authentically, but spammy behavior, such as repetitive or automated actions, is prohibited. Our fair usage policy (see /upload-limits) limits excessive activity to maintain a positive community experience.

Do:

  • Send tailored messages to fans, e.g., “I think you’ll enjoy my new song.”
  • Share music or events with relevant audiences.
  • Engage meaningfully with other users’ content.

Don’t:

  • Post identical comments or messages in bulk, e.g., copy-pasting links.
  • Repeatedly follow/unfollow accounts to gain attention.
  • Use or promote services to artificially boost followers, plays, or likes.
  • Create multiple accounts to inflate profile popularity.

16. Restricted Goods and Services

The trade, hire, or marketing of restricted goods (e.g., illegal drugs, firearms, sexual services) is not allowed. This includes facilitating illegal activities like money laundering or unauthorized immigration.

Do:

  • Discuss restricted goods educationally, e.g., a podcast on drug awareness.

Don’t:

  • Advertise or sell illegal drugs, weapons, or sexual services.
  • Use the platform to facilitate illegal activities.

17. Fraud and Scams

Do:

  • Stay vigilant and avoid sharing personal/financial details.

Don’t:

  • Post false promises or deceptive messages, e.g., “Send money for free music.”
  • Engage with or promote scams targeting users.

18. Reporting Violations

We rely on our community to help maintain these standards. If you encounter content or behavior violating these guidelines, our Terms and Conditions, or applicable law, please report it to postmaster@frc-all-music.com with details (e.g., URL, description of violation). Our team will review reports objectively and may remove content or suspend accounts. Note that content you find objectionable may not violate our policies if it complies with these guidelines and the law.

19. Enforcement and Termination

If we determine that your activity violates these guidelines, our Terms and Conditions, or applicable law, we will send a written warning to the email associated with your account, including a statement of reasons. After two warnings, we may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion. Severe violations (e.g., terrorist content, child exploitation) may result in immediate termination without warning.
