Er ist in Sachen Rock unterwegs und hat sich bereits einen Namen im Süden unseres Landes gemacht. Seine Musik ist nicht der typische Deutsch Rock, sondern seine Titel gehen in Richtung internationaler Rock mit deutschen Texten – genau dies macht ihn außergewöhnlich. Mike North schreibt seine Titel, und Texte selbst. Er verarbeitet Dinge und Situationen darin, die seinem Leben und seinem Glauben entsprechen. Fast könnte man einen neuen GenreBereich erfinden ,,Christ Rock,, im internationalen Rock-Stil. Mike North hatte schon viele Jobs vor seiner Musik – war sogar auf einer Fähre auf der Nordsee. Mike North – Folge dem Stern

Alle Jahre wieder hörte Mike North stets die selben Weihnachtssongs.Dies fand er extrem langweilig und hat sich deshalb entschlossen, selbst einen Weihnachtssong zu schreiben.
Dieser sollte eine Alternative zu "Last Christmas" oder "Winterwonderland" darstellen.
Das Video von "The Power of love" enthält mehrere Szenen mit den Drei Heiligen Königen. Diese Szenen hat der Künstler in seinen Text einfließen lassen.
So kam es, dass er noch einen drauf gesetzt hat und anstelle eines einfachen Weihnachtsschlagers einen Deutschen Weihnachts-Schlager-Raggae-Song mit dem Titel "Folge dem Stern" geschrieben hat.
Bei seinen Auftritten kam er sehr gut an, zumal das Publikum bei diesem Song gut mit klatschen konnte.

Mr. Martins Worte: ,,Sieben Jahre sind vergangen seit der Idee, ein Instrumentalalbum im Alleingang aufzunehmen und zu produzieren, bis zur Veröffentlichung im Mai 2017. Die bekanntesten Rockgitarristen dieses Planeten haben auch fast alle irgendwann ihr Gitarrenspiel zum Mittelpunkt der musikalischen Geschichte, die sie erzählen wollen gemacht und instrumentale Alben produziert und nachdem ich in mehreren Produktionen und Rockbands immer meinen Gesang, meine Texte und Gitarren beigesteuert hatte, entstand auch bei mir das Bedürfnis und der Wunsch mein Gitarrenspiel zum Hauptdarsteller in meiner Geschichte zu machen. Die Musik, die man am meisten und am liebsten hört, inspiriert einen Musiker natürlich immer zu den eigenen Stücken und Kompositionen und so ging es auch mir. Im Laufe der Zeit entstanden dann die Themen oder musikalischen Bruchstücke, während der Momente, in denen ich mich mit meiner akustischen Gitarre beschäftigte oder im Sommer am Strand und auf der Wiese immer wieder bestimmte Songs und Ideen spielte und Freunde und Zuhörer schon durchaus positiv auf die eigene Musik, die da entstehen will reagierten. Alles was mich innerlich während dieser Zeit bewegte und die ganze Entwicklung meines inneren und äußeren Lebens – positiv sowie negativ – floss natürlich in diesen kreativen Prozess hinein und so geht es ja wahrscheinlich allen Musikern oder sonstigen Künstlern. Alle diese Segmente, Bruchstücke und auch schon relativ „fertigen“ Ideen dann zu bearbeiten und in Kontext zu allen anderen Instrumenten, die auf einem Rockalbum nicht fehlen dürfen, zu stellen, war dann die nächste Phase der Produktion. Spur für Spur und Instrument für Instrument dann solange einzuspielen und zu produzieren, bis ein Stück wirklich so klingt wie man es sich vorgestellt hat, ist natürlich ein langer und intensiver Prozess, in dem man oft wochenlang an einem Musikstück zu tun hat. Irgendwann hatte ich dann eine gute Anzahl von Songs fertig und später dass große Glück Yvonne Held und Alex De. der Firma ADair Records mit dem Tochterlabel ROCKair Records kennenzulernen, deren herzliche und kreative Mitarbeit zur jetzigen Veröffentlichung meines Debut Albums ,,FIRST SIGNAL,, geführt hat. Ich sage aus ganzem Herzen danke für diese wunderbare Zusammenarbeit und kann allen Musikfreunden nur viel Freude beim Hören des Albums wünschen!
